Announcements: New Info!

    1) We are planning a candidate forum for the Republican candidates for the 5th district seat of the US House of Representatives. If you have any questions that you would like us to consider asking the candidates, please let us know by Friday, May 16th. You can submit them via email to the webmaster or by calling Chairman Bill Boruff (contact info for both people).

    2) If you have an organization for which you need a speaker, please feel free to contact us.

    3) Also, if you know of a personal freedom issue that you would like us to tackle, please let us know about that as well.

News: New Info!

    1) Referendum Vote: On June 3rd, 2008, Madison County will be voting on a proposed half-cent sales tax increase for schools. We opposed last year's proposed sales tax increase in Limestone County and we oppose this tax increase for the same reasons.

    2) Also on June 3rd, there are several primary elections, including one of the US senatorial seats from Alabama and all of the US Representatives, a couple of judgeships, and a few county government offices. For more information about this election, go to our page about it.
