News: New Info! 1) Referendum Vote: On June 3rd, 2008, Madison County will be voting on a proposed half-cent sales tax increase for schools. We opposed last year's proposed sales tax increase in Limestone County and we oppose this tax increase for the same reasons. 2) Also on June 3rd, there are several primary elections, including one of the US senatorial seats from Alabama and all of the US Representatives, a couple of judgeships, and a few county government offices.
